Truly exceptional languistines, freshly cooked to order and served with with bread and salad! Extremely tasty local seafood at it's finest. The lobster and crab bisque looked delicious too. As it was the Crofter's Kitchen's 1st birthday we even got a complimentary huge slice of cake . Don't miss a chance to stop here for a real treat.
What a find!! We were heading to the beach when we caught sight of the Crofter’s Kitchen and were tempted by the interesting menu. Good decision!! Lobster and crab bisque and home smoked salmon salad with capers, croutons and creme fraiche - so yummy!! We sat at picnic tables in the sunshine and identified birdsong as we ate. Perfect!!
Had the BEST seafood ever here. Fabulous sea bass and langoustines literally straight from the sea. All served al fresco in gorgeous April sunshine. Can’t recommend the Crofters Kitchen highly enough. Just perfect.
We ate at this hidden gem for lunch today. We asked a man that works at the local fish farm where they would recommend for fresh cooked seafood, that served as lunch and 'picky bits' not a formal sit down meal as such and this hit the brief bang on. We had muscles and fries, and haddock tacos. Absolutely gorgeous! A nice outdoor seating area, close to the campsite we stayed at and a stones throw from the beach with a beautiful view. It filled up within a few minutes of opening which shows how popular it is!
Absolutely amazing food, I ordered the West Coast Wonder for my wife's birthday and oh boy did they deliver but don't take my word for it check out the photos. Highly recommended and a place you should make a destination on your NC500 trip
Absolutely hidden gem... I have Coeliacs disease (gluten free) and they could not have been more accommodating! Almost everything on the menu could be made gluten-free and the two cakes on offer were both GF! Delicious fresh food and great service. We ended up visiting twice during our stay at a nearby Airbnb. Would HIGHLY recommend!
